Skystriker

The Skystriker reigns as the dominant raptor of Tauria's open skies. These magnificent birds patrol the plains from altitudes that reduce the Talboks below to moving dots, using eyesight of a precision that would shame any terrestrial eagle. Their broad wings — spanning wider than a warrior's full arm-reach on each side — allow them to glide effortlessly on the rising columns of warm air above the sunlit plains for hours without a single wingbeat.

When prey is sighted, the Skystriker folds those great wings against its body and descends with a speed that the air itself seems to announce — a sound like tearing silk, followed by impact. Their talons are golden-yellow, heavy, curved, and capable of carrying a Dust Hare without effort.
