Ashvine

Creeping vines found in the southern plains. Nefilia became entangled in them during her solo hunt for the Inferno Stalker.

Ashvines grow with surprising speed, spreading across bare rock and cooled lava flows. Their grey-green tendrils are deceptively strong — thin enough to seem fragile, tough enough to hold a grown warrior in place. They root in the cracks of volcanic stone and thrive in the mineral-rich ash deposits.

The Aries learned to carry short blades specifically for cutting through Ashvine tangles. Athamas mapped the densest patches after Nefilia's incident, incorporating them into the settlement defence plans — anything that could slow an Aries scout could also slow an enemy.
