Glassback

Small four-legged insect hunters with dark bodies and thin translucent plates running along the spine. The plates catch each sun differently, appearing amber from one direction and smoky blue from another.

Glassbacks bask on stone walls, exposed roots, ruins and warm rocks. At the movement of a large shadow they vanish almost instantly into cracks and vegetation.
